Where can I get a Wildlife Conservation license plate?
You can print an application form HERE, or contact the Wildlife Conservation Council (WCC) at 602-712-9822, or a WCC member club for an application. You cannot request an application directly from the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD). Once you have completed your application you need to send it to the WCC, and we must submit your application/certification directly to the MVD.
How much does the Wildlife Conservation license plate cost?
$27.40 Initial fee (payable to the Motor Vehicle Division). $17 is returned to the WCC for habitat projects, education,
communication, and administration (WCC member clubs will be eligible for these funds). The MVD retains $8 for license plate administration and $2.40 for postage and handling. Future license plate renewal
years will be $25.
Can I personalize my Wildlife Conservation license plate?
No, you are not able to personalize your Wildlife Conservation license plate. The license plate numbers will be assigned
randomly.
What if my license plate registration has not expired?
MVD will send you your Wildlife Conservation license plate with your current registration dates on the plate. MVD is not
able to pro-rate your fee for the months that you have remaining on your registration.
How will I renew my Wildlife Conservation license plate?
MVD will send you a license renewal in the mail. Be sure to indicate that you want to renew the Wildlife
Conservation license plate with a $25 annual renewal fee in addition to your regular registration fees. Each year that you renew your Wildlife Conservation license plate WCC will continue to receive your
$17 donation.
Can I purchase more than one Wildlife Conservation license plate?
Yes, you can purchase a plate for all cars registered in your name. Conservation plates are not available for alternative
fuel vehicles, trailers, travel trailers, commercial vehicles, vehicles that are not leased in your name, Polaris, or motorcycles.
