Forest Service Travel Management Rule - In December 2005, the forest Service published the Travel Management Rule (TMR) requiring each individual forest to designate roads, trails and areas authorized for motor vehicle travel with a goal of finalizing the process in 2009. Sportsmen input is critical to this process. Other stakeholders including those who want to open more roads or close existing ones are making their wishes known and sportsmen need to do the same. Failure to do so may result in having your favorite road or trail closed to future motorized use.  Click here for individual contact information and the most recent report from the Tonto, Prescott, Kaibab, Apache-Sitgreaves and Coronado forests. New Maps now available for review on Apache-Sitgreaves.
